    • You can Downlaod HTML verification file and upload it to your website's root using FTP OR
    • Click alternate method to obtain a meta tag which you can add on your wordpress site.

Add this meta tag  on your wordpress website header or footer file using FTP

Also you can add this this meta tag using wordpress SEO plugin. Copy the verification key in content part of the meta tag. Installed and Activate WordPress SEO plugin in your wordpress site, Click on SEO on WordPress admin sidebar and then go Webmaster tools Section and paste this key in  Google verification code field. Save your changes.

  • - Go back to Google Webmaster tools website to verify your website.
  • - Congratulations! You've connected your website to Google Search Console. Now that you've verified and connected your website, the next is submit an XML sitemap.
